"Another Year"
By, J.T. Montague
I look out the window every day,
And I think to myself, why do I stay,
What I desire is not here,
And yet I stay another year,
Now is the time to continue life,
Out of my heart with this painful knife,
I'll swallow my pride along with my fear,
And I'll be gone in another year,
I've stayed here far too long,
I'm weak no more, now I am strong,
I've made my wails, and shed my tears,
But I'll not stay here another year.
